Charity Northan LAC
Hi! My name is Charity Northan. I am a native of the beautiful state of Virginia. I was called to the ministry of counseling as a teenager. I knew very early that I was called to ‘heal the broken hearted.’ I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hampton University. I also hold a Master of Science degree in General Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am licensed through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a licensed associate counselor. I am an author and founder of a non-profit organization, Faith Solutions to Mental Health. I specialize in faith based Christian counseling incorporated with Christ-centered and trauma-informed mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, as well as healing and deliverance. Clients come to me often struggle with serious mental illness (anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, and psychosis), marital stress, low self-image, and identity confusion. I provide professional counseling through Broken Chains Christian Counseling and often connect clients to ongoing support through Faith Solutions to Mental Health and vice versa. My long-term goal in working with you will be to help you walk into your God-given purpose.
